BRIGID’S WAY CELTIC PILGRIMAGE

Brigid’s Way Celtic Pilgrimage was inaugurated in a moment of divine inspiration as a non-profit venture by a committee of volunteers, together with many additional helpers. Those who honour Brigid, as a pre Celtic Goddess or Christian Saint, come to walk in her footsteps as a way to find peace, connect with our ancestors and commune with the sacred Land of Ireland. It has been an amazing journey with many people from Ireland  and all over the world joining  us to walk some or all of the 9 day walking Pilgrimage beginning at  Brigid’s birthplace in Faughart, Co. Louth and finishing in her Monastic city, Kildare.  Now this initial phase of the wonderful sacred route has been completed and a solid foundation established. We are delighted to announce that after a 3 year hiatus due to Covid 19 we are currently dedicating our energies to bring you a bigger and better 9 Day Pilgrimage from the 23rd – 31st July 2022. Please put these dates in your diary and keep an eye on our website and social media for regular updates. We invite you to hold a vision of a strong, vibrant Brigid’s Way Pilgrimage continuing to play a significant role in the return of the Divine Feminine consciousness, equal but different to the Divine Masculine, in Ireland and in the world.
